With 23 gorgeous acres, Skyview is the perfect place to enjoy nature and the elements. You can hike our ridge trail for spectacular views of the Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz mountains. You can relax in one of our Skypods and take a nap or read a book beneath a 200 year old oak tree. Go swimming in our huge pond and do yoga/meditate/journal on the adjoining beach. There's a grandmother (old-growth) redwood tree to visit plus a wonderful diversity of wildflowers and native plants to study and appreciate. Birds soar in the skies above (hawks, ravens, vultures) while the calls of morning doves and owls gently fill the air at dawn and dusk. And our sunsets...wow!!

Campsite # 3
I like #3 because it was hiding behind big trees and no one was at site 4 so it was very peaceful and quiet.

Very little space between campsites, and unclear which campsite was assigned to each group as the whiteboard map right when you enter the driveway was almost totally erased. That being said, it was nice to meet some of the other campers by the fire pit, and the view of the Santa Cruz mountains was beautiful. Overall had a pleasant experience but unsure whether we would camp here again.

Great weekend retreat
We had a great time at Skyview! It was a very well thought out campsite and we had no issues during out entire stay. The hammocks and view from the beach are fantastic and good spot for a retreat or just to get away from the city!

Wonderful
Amazing place — breathtaking views from the cocoon and hammock area, very nice cooking area with a fridge/pots/pans/utensils, a perfect little campfire pit, and a stunning night sky. Definitely take it slow on the drive in, but in dry weather even a normal car can make it.

Room for improvement
We arrived to the site and ended up leaving early. At arrival we didn't know where to find the hosts and there is no reception to message. The campsites were marked but we realized we were sharing a picnic table with the campsite next to us and the space didn't feel as private since we were so close together. Another thing that made us feel uncomfortable in our campsite was that there was a creeking tree behind our campsite, it looked like a tree had fallen and some parts were still breaking. It was raining so the communal firepit was not running, as we explored we did find a large tent that could have been a place to hangout but there wasn't any lighting around and there were a lot of trash bags inside. Maybe looked like they had had an event so we figured this tent was not for guests to use. there was also a speaker with a recording saying "Check out the bathroom" on loop which we found so odd. Last but not least, the dirt road is very long and you are on it for about 25 mins so it is important to note that if an accident happens you are very far from getting any help out there. I guess on the brightside, it is very secluded from civilization if that is exactly what you are looking for. We do have a 4 wheel drive so that did make it easier for us to get there. We never really heard from the hosts, not sure if they noticed we ended up leaving. I didn't ask for a refund given we just made the choice to not stay but I did think the price point was high for what it offered.
